Founding a company while studying - how did it come about? Next to studying, and thanks to some spare time during the Covid lockdowns, I started a digital agency. We help companies create better websites and to promote them. We don't just take on web design and digital marketing as a short-term project but proactively teach it to businesses. This empowerment saves our clients money in the long run and allows them to use their website as a tool without external help.
How can you use your study content in your work as a founder? The marketing modules, particularly regarding market research and value proposition development, helped me find a gap in the market and cater to it appropriately. In addition to my academic skills, my new presentation and slide design skills have greatly benefited me.
What do you like about studying at SRH? During my studies, I was free to develop my skills in a targeted way, even outside the modules. The exam stress is spread over months, so there is always enough time to tackle my own projects and learn from them. I am particularly grateful for the close cooperation with the professors and lecturers – I have made valuable contacts here and gained a lot from personal conversations.
