Photography (B.A.)
Our photography Bachelor’s programme in the creative capital of Berlin is the perfect launching pad for your life behind the lens.
Whether film or digital, our modern studios, darkrooms and workstations for digital editing offer the ideal environment for you to develop your own individual image style.
This study programme prepares you for traditional photography roles in photojournalism, fashion or product photography.
Alternatively, you may start a career in new visual media fields such as CGI, virtual and augmented reality, Stereo3D or 360 x 180°.

Photography (M.A.)
You wish to hone your photographic vision? Then our Photography Master’s programme is perfect for you! Choose between the programme with 90 ECTS or 120 ECTS depending on your already-acquired ECTS in your Bachelor's.
You’ll learn to sharpen your critical eye and dive into the history of image as a medium – all whilst shaping your career path as a professional photographer and artist.
The M.A. in Photography will expand your stylistic range and take your skills to new heights. You’ll be prepared to step into roles as an artistic photographer, editor or art director. Likewise, the theoretical portions of the course will open doors to work in galleries, museums and research in Germany and abroad.
