What you'll learn

This programme provides a broad foundation in artistic practice, research, teaching, and self-management.

🎶 Key elements include:

  • Development of your own artistic work in cross-traditional, cross-genre, and cross-disciplinary contexts
  • Performative and creative sound design, including analogue, digital, intermodal, and installative practices
  • Interdisciplinary knowledge in history, music theory, aesthetics, aural training, and instrumental studies with a global, culturally differentiated perspective
  • Engagement with artistic and academic research methods
  • Training in music education, pedagogy, and project management

📚 Teaching and learning methods: Lectures, seminars, research workshops, individual and group lessons, exercises, rehearsals, internships, field research, and independent project work. Peer-to-peer learning is integrated to leverage the diverse composition of the student body.
