From planning to project handover

In this programme, you gain a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, engineering principles and modern project management. You start with fundamental modules in mathematics, mechanics, construction materials and building physics. As you progress, you deepen your expertise in structural engineering, cost estimation, scheduling, construction law and digital tools such as BIM.

Through practical projects, site excursions and interdisciplinary teamwork, you learn to apply technical and managerial skills to real construction scenarios. Your studies conclude with an internship and an industry-oriented bachelor’s thesis, enabling you to enter the professional world with confidence.

To help you get started in Germany, you will learn German up to level B1 alongside your subject-specific content.

Engineering basics, digital tools and practical project skills

The curriculum combines basic engineering knowledge with project management, legal principles and digital construction methods. You will learn how to professionally coordinate construction projects from planning through to realisation. Costs

Smart financing

As a state-recognised, private university, SRH University is financed by tuition fees. This income goes towards equipping our campuses, providing services for our students and quality assurance. In this way, we ensure that you receive the best possible education under optimal study conditions.

Tuition fees

  • Citizenship | EU/EEA (incl. Switzerland, Western Balkans and Ukraine): €790 / month
  • Citizenship | non-EU/EEA: €5,100 / semester

The monthly fee remains the same for the entire duration of your studies. The one-off enrolment fee is EUR 750.00.

If you come from a non-EEA country without a residence permit, the enrolment fee is €1,000 - you must pay the tuition fees for one semester in advance.From the second semester onwards, payments for the remaining semesters are due six weeks before the end of the study period already paid for. Payments are to be made semester by semester.

With the exception of any placement, aptitude or equivalency tests, no separate examination fees or similar are charged, not even for repeat examinations.This gives you maximum cost transparency during your studies.

In addition to efficient organisation, a goal-oriented course of study also requires a solid financial basis in order to be able to pay rent, living costs and tuition fees. There are various financing options, such as educational loans or scholarship programmes.

Admission requirements and application

Authorisation

You can apply at any time via our online portal with no obligation. We will then check your application documents and invite you to a personal interview.

To apply for the Bachelor's degree programme in Construction Management B.Eng. , you need

  • general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (subject-restricted Abitur) or the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences
  • or a subject-related professional qualification without an aptitude test, i.e. the master craftsman's examination (HwO) or a similar professional qualification (e.g. Fachwirt IHK) in a relevant subject area, and a counselling interview, or with an aptitude test, i.e. with at least two years of completed professional training and usually at least three years of professional experience in a relevant subject area,
  • letter of motivation
  • Sufficient knowledge of German (DSH or TestDaF exam)
  • if available, internship certificates, drafts, sketches and other work
  • Successful completion of the selection procedure
  • Curriculum vitae with current passport photo
  • Copy of ID (front and back), copy of National Identity Card for foreign students

*Professionally qualified persons without a university entrance qualification who have at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience are also entitled to study a specific degree programme if they pass an aptitude test. Please contact us personally.

  1. You apply online via the SRH application portal
  2. If you fulfil the admission requirements, we will invite you to a selection interview
  3. If the interview is successful, you will receive a letter of acceptance and a study contract from us
  4. You sign the study contract and send it back to us
  5. You pay the enrolment fee
  6. We will send you your letter of admission
  7. You take part in our induction week and then you're ready to go!
