What you will learn in the Creative Writing Master
The international Master Creative Writing enables you to develop your own artistic voice while expanding your understanding of writing as a form of research, creative practice and social engagement. The two-year programme is a collaboration between four renowned European institutions: SRH University of Applied Sciences (Berlin), ArtEZ University of the Arts (Arnhem), Escuela de Escritores (Madrid) and Scuola Holden (Turin).
You will work on your own artistic project, explore literary questions through research and reflect on the role of writing in a global contemporary context. Online courses, writing workshops and three annual on-site residencies in the partner countries bring together theory, practice and exchange across cultural boundaries.
You will write and develop your work in your first language — at SRH this means German — and receive individual mentoring in that language. International seminars, courses and discussions are conducted in English.
