Ticketing

Tickets for graduates are free of charge.

Registration for the ceremony is essential. Please register by 29 March 2026.

The registration deadline has been extended to 29 March – please use the link and the password: GRAD_2026

Tickets

Up to 4 guest tickets can be purchased.
First and last names must be provided and may be used, for example, when applying for a visa. Guest tickets cost €25 per guest. Registration till 29 March 2026

Reordering guest tickets:

In addition, you can reorder up to two guest tickets between 17 March and 29 March. To do so, please use the link provided, enter the password GRAD_2026 and click on ‘Reorder guest tickets’.

Guests under the age of 12 are free of charge, but must be registered by email: [email protected]
Tickets for accompanying persons of graduates with disabilities are free of charge. 

Please register by emailing [email protected] is required until 29 March 2026. 

Tickets

Yes, tickets can also be transferred to family or friends at short notice. It is not necessary to inform SRH. There will be no identification checks on site. 

For cancellations made by 10 April 2026, the fees will be refunded minus a processing fee of €2.82. For cancellations made on or after 11 April 2026, the ticket price cannot be refunded.  
You can process your cancellation directly via the Eventbrite ticketing system.

Please note that admission is only possible with a valid ticket. We apologise for any inconvenience. 

Programme

  • 15:00 Admission to the Congress Centre Heidelberg
    Graduates: Issue of gowns and berets, preparation for the ceremony
    Guests: Admission to the ballroom (Room 1)
  • 15:50 Graduates: Meeting point for the march-in in front of Hall 1
  • 16:00 Official start of the graduation ceremony
  • 18:00 Champagne reception
    Time to toast, take photos and celebrate in a festive atmosphere
  • End around 19:30

 

The graduation ceremony will be hosted in two languages (German/English).

You will then have the opportunity to round off the evening privately over a meal with family and guests. There are numerous restaurants and cosy pubs in the vicinity of the Heidelberg Congress Center, ideal for continuing the special day in a festive atmosphere.

Dress code: festive
We would be delighted if you would dress festively for this special occasion - in evening wear or smart business attire.

Graduates will receive a gown and cap for the ceremonial procession. You are welcome to keep the cap as a memento of this special day; we will collect the gown again after the ceremony.

Information

Following the graduation ceremony, time slots have been allocated for each school.
Please come onto the stage at your designated time so that we can take photos together.
The times are:

  • 6:55–7:10 pm: School of Technology and Architecture
  • 7:10–7:25 pm: School of Health, Education and Social Sciences
  • 7:25–7:40 pm: School of Art, Information and Media
  • 7:40–7:55 pm: School of Business and Law


Please arrive a few minutes early so that everything can run smoothly and without stress.

Official photographs will be taken during the actual certificate award ceremony, including the hat throw, and will later be made available free of charge in digital format.

The access details will be published in April.

FAQ

For capacity reasons, ticket purchases are limited to four guest tickets.

Yes, it is possible to attend the graduation ceremony even if you have not yet fully completed your studies at the time of the ceremony. In this case, however, no certificate will be awarded.

There is no box office on site. Please bring your ticket with you to gain admission.

After registering via the Eventbrite ticketing system, you will receive a confirmation of invitation, which is usually sufficient for visa applications. If this confirmation is not sufficient, please send an email with the full names of your guests to [email protected]
