Founder Institute

Your startup:

Why not seek the support of our university’s Founder Institute as you embark on one of the most exciting stages of your career?

In 2010, we made it our goal, as a university, to engage more actively in the topic of business startups, and to promote and support our students and graduates in this area. With this in mind, we established the Founder Institute, which operates on the following three levels: teaching, mentoring and networking.

This service is available to students and staff of SRH University Heidelberg; we also support our graduates for up to five years after graduation. Please note that if you intend to seek our support as part of a team, at least one team member should have a link to SRH University Heidelberg (student, graduate, employee, lecturer). 

We will be happy to advise you on how to turn your ideas into profitable and sustainable business concepts. If needed, we will also provide additional support during the challenging startup phase of your business. 

ABOUT THE FOUNDER INSTITUTE

How we support you

We provide you with practical support, and develop teaching for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and innopreneurs.

We provide you with quick feedback to help validate your business idea.

Innovation rarely appears from nowhere. Which is why we support you with efficient methods such as design thinking, LEGO Serious Play and business model innovation.

Networking works! Which is why we help you build a network with companies, startup groups, mentors and coaches. We also put you in touch with other companies, startups, students, investors and funding bodies, helping to get your business off to a good start.

We offer you co-working spaces that provide a pleasant working atmosphere, as well as a functioning office and seminar infrastructure for creative events.
