Your studies, your success: the CORE principle

At SRH University, you’ll study according to the CORE principle (Competence Oriented Research and Education). This means you’ll learn step by step in small teams, working on real-world problems, whilst receiving personalised support. This approach ensures that you don’t just acquire theoretical knowledge, but also develop the skills you’ll actually need later in your career.

Locations with character: deeply rooted in the region, yet connected to the wider world

Each of our campuses has its own unique character. We value exchange and diversity – both on and off campus. In Saxony, for example, this commitment is reflected in the fact that the SRH Campus Dresden took part for the first time in ‘Dresden isst bunt’, a festival celebrating openness and dialogue. This sense of community makes our campuses places where you’ll soon feel at home.

Science meets practice: Innovative research projects

Our degree programmes are closely linked to the latest technological and economic developments. We encourage formats that allow you to apply your knowledge directly to solving societal challenges. A pioneering example of this is the Biodatathon, where students learn how to take pharmaceutical research to a new level using artificial intelligence and data analysis.

Experience real-world relevance: field trips and insights

Theory is for other places. Here, direct contact with the professional world is an integral part of the curriculum. Whether it’s visits to global players or subject-specific insights, e.g. into social and medical facilities: we take you to where the real work happens. For example, during an excursion to a modern rehabilitation clinic, physiotherapy students were able to gain valuable insights for their future working lives.

International Community: Working together across borders

SRH is a meeting place for people from all over the world. We actively encourage interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange. A highlight of the academic calendar was the International Sustainability Summer School 2025 at SRH University. Here, students from a wide range of countries work together on sustainable solutions and strengthen their global network.
