Aadmission requirements in detail
We accept accredited Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture. You will need 180 ECTS for the 4-semester Master’s programme, 210 ECTS for the 3-semester Master’s or 240 ECTS for the 2-semester Master’s. We will check specific subjects and your CGPA to give an assessment.
When is a preparatory course necessary?
With a degree in Architecture with at least 210 ECTS (= 3.5-year degree), no preparatory course is necessary.
If you have a degree in architecture with 180 ECTS (= 3 year degree), you must complete a preparatory course before starting your degree. The practical preparatory course must be started and successfully completed by the winter semester (October - March) at the latest to ensure entry into the regular programme in the following summer semester (start: 1 April).
English language requirements
Accepted English Proficiency Certificates (valid within 2 years), with at least the indicated score:
- B2 First Cambridge: grade A or B
- CAE: grade A, B, or C
- CPE: grade A, B, or C
- Duolingo Certificate: 110
- IELTS (academic): 6.5 / IELTS (indicator) online: 6.5
- Linguaskill: 176 (all four skills required)
- Password Skills Plus Test: 6.5
- Pearson English Test Academic (PTE-A): 59 (in total)
- TOEIC: 785 (Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150)

If the GPA, subject or language requirements are not fully met for direct entry into the programme, we offer a 1-semester PreMaster programme at the SRH International College. No separate application is required, and our admissions team will determine if this course is necessary for programme entry.
