SRH Connects: Strengthening International Academic Networks
Brief description
SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (SRH) is one of the largest and oldest non-profit private universities of applied sciences in Germany. As a welcoming university, it also welcomes students and staff from over 140 countries – with international students accounting for around 46 per cent of the student body. Strategic promotion of internationalisation and the continuous development of intercultural competence are therefore among the university’s key objectives.
In recent years, SRH has already taken significant steps towards internationalisation, particularly in the areas of study and teaching. Nevertheless, some structural challenges remain. This is where the project ‘SRH Connects: Strengthening International Academic Networks’ (in short: ‘SRH Connects’) comes in; building on previous developments, it aims to close remaining gaps in the internationalisation of SRH University and to implement targeted measures to further develop and consolidate international programmes and opportunities.
