Christoph, who founded the company after completing his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, works in Mannheim, as his start-up was acquired by Osapiens shortly after it was founded last year. Together with two mates, whom he has known since the 5th grade, they digitise the life cycle of a wide variety of products: Certirex builds NFC chips into shoes or cosmetics packaging, for example, to document their entire journey from manufacture to product care. "We can also do chainsaws," says Christoph with a wink. We leave the ghost with chainsaw in hand and enter the next room.
