Fitness and healthy food
When we see our interviewee at the next door, it's clear: our minds have brawn. The founders Felix and Christian actually just wanted to get a good grade in their entrepreneurship course, in which they had to come up with a business idea during their International Management and Entrepreneurship degree programme at SRH University Heidelberg. After a visit to the gym, they realised that their stomachs were empty, as was the fridge at home, and they actually needed something to eat right away - but it had to be healthy. "We never had the idea of actually realising this idea," admits Felix today, almost four years later. In order to secure a good grade, they wrote to the Pfizenmaier sports studio, where they were immediately asked when they would start. "Now we had to realise our idea for better or worse." And then everything happened very quickly: instead of a semester abroad, Felix did an internship at his own company, Compleat. The Exist application was approved, then came corona. "That was a tough break at first, but in the end we benefited from the pandemic," says Felix. Healthy eating is now more in vogue than ever before, and thanks to digital pre-ordering and a delivery service, Compleat soon brought its delicious bowls and vitamin bombs to home offices all over Heidelberg. Today, Felix and Christian and their 60 employees not only run food trucks in front of Pfizenmaier, but also have a permanent location on Bismarckplatz, with another planned in Mannheim. "It's going in the direction of franchising," says Felix happily.
