Start earning money or continue studying? Many are faced with this decision before they start their master's degree. With the scholarship for Master's students we want to promote lifelong learning and give you a chance for further education.

SRH Scholarships for Master's students

  • Bachelor's graduates or professionals who wish to pursue a master's degree at the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations).
  • Existing master's students at the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations)

If you would like to apply for the scholarship, you should be enrolled or have submitted a regular application for a degree program at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations). You should also meet the university entrance requirements and admission criteria for that program. Funding for dual degree programs is excluded.

The following documents are required for the application:

  • Letter of motivation for the scholarship
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher or university lecturer in the relevant subject area
  • Current CV
  • If applicable, a current transcript of records from your previous studies
  • Certificate of a first university degree
  • Certificate of enrollment or signed study contract for applicants from EEA countries* or final admission letter for applicants from non-EEA countries**
  • If applicable, proof of special qualifications for the program (e.g., evidence of civic or community involvement, special skills, language certificates, awards, stays abroad, certificates of relevant internships, vocational training certificates, etc.)
  • If applicable, reasons that have had a complicating or hindering impact on your previous educational history, e.g., financial or family difficulties, disability, first-time graduate, etc.

*For applicants from EEA countries: Please note that you must upload the signed study contract and the enrolment fee must be paid before the meeting of the scholarship committee (mid-October for the winter semester).

**For applicants from non-EEA countries: You can apply with the Pre Admission Letter. However, you must have the Final Admission Letter (fees must be paid) before the Scholarship Committee meets and decides on the award of the scholarship (mid-October for the winter semester). If you are awarded the scholarship, the tuition fees you have already paid will be refunded.

The application period for the winter semester 2025/26 starts on Tuesday, July 15 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Thursday, August 14 at 11:59 p.m.

The scholarship is a full scholarship. This means for you: You do not have to pay tuition fees during the standard period of study.

How to apply for a Scholarship

Please submit your application via our application portal. This portal will be activated for submissions for the winter semester 2025/26 from July 15 to August 14. Submissions are not possible outside of the application period. When submitting your application documents, please note that only complete, timely, and correctly submitted applications can be considered for scholarship award.
