Start earning money or continue studying? Many are faced with this decision before they start their master's degree. With the scholarship for Master's students we want to promote lifelong learning and give you a chance for further education. 

Your funding

SRH Scholarships for Master's students

  • Bachelor's graduates or professionals who wish to pursue a master's degree at the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations).
  • Existing master's students at the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations)

If you would like to apply for the scholarship, you should be enrolled or have submitted a regular application for a degree program at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg (all locations). You should also meet the university entrance requirements and admission criteria for that program. 

Please submit the following documents for the application:

  • Letter of motivation for the scholarship
  • ONE letter of recommendation from a school teacher, a university lecturer, or a professor from the respective field of study
  • Current curriculum vitae (CV)
  • If applicable, a school-leaving certificate (for first-year students with less than 30 ECTS earned at SRH)
  • If applicable, a current overview of grades from your previous studies
  • If applicable, certificate of a first university degree
  • Certificate of enrolment or signed study contract for applicants from EEA countries* or Letter of Acceptance for applicants from non-EEA countries**
  • If applicable, proof of special qualifications for the course of study (e.g., evidence of civic or social commitment, special skills, language certificates, awards, stays abroad, certificates of relevant internships, certificates of vocational training, etc.)
  • If applicable, reasons that have made your previous educational history more difficult or hindering, e.g. Financial or family difficulties, disability, first-time academic, etc.

*For applicants from EEA countries: Please note that you must upload the signed study contract and the enrollment fee must be paid before the scholarship committee meeting (mid-September for the winter semester). 

**For applicants from non-EEA countries: You can apply with the Letter of Acceptance. However, your fees must be paid before the scholarship committee meets and decides on the allocation of the scholarship

The application period for the winter semester 2026/2027 begins on Monday, 1 June 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Tuesday, 30 June 2026 at 11:59 p.m. You can apply via the Scholarship application portal. This is an external portal, and you will need to create an account.

When submitting your application, please note that only complete applications submitted by the deadline will be considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship is a full scholarship. This means for you: You do not have to pay tuition fees from the beginning of the funding period and until the remaining standard period of study.
