Registration for the courses is usually activated at the beginning of the semester, in the case of short-term seminars and workshops immediately after publication on the website. Registration is possible up to one week before the course date at the latest.

To register for our Studium Generale courses, please proceed as follows (reminder: registration for our Studium Generale courses is only possible via CampusNet):

1. Log in via CampusNet and go to "My studies"
2. In the menu on the left-hand side, go to "Register for language courses and Studium Generale".
3. In the list of modules and courses you want to register for, select "More courses".
4. You will now find an overview of all current Studium Generale courses (and language courses).

You will receive 1-2 CPs for the language courses after successfully passing the examination. The workload is itemised on the certificates of the Studium Generale courses - the faculty decides on the scope of the recognition of credits.

The recognition of the courses is the responsibility of the examination offices of the schools, the exact recognition rules/information can be obtained directly from your contact person.

These courses are recognised at the School of Business.

If a course is not listed, you can enquire about recognition at the School Examination Office.

Cancellation is possible at the latest one week before the first course date.

If you are absent from a course without prior official cancellation, you will be barred from the Studium Generale courses for the following semester. In the event of illness, you are of course excused as in the case of an examination (please provide proof).

The Studium Generale courses are offered by our university to support you as a student beyond the subject-specific topics and to prepare you optimally for both your studies and your career entry. For this reason, there are no fees for the courses; in exceptional cases, e.g. for language courses, you will have to purchase learning materials/books yourself.

Please cancel your enrolment directly in CampusNet. If the course is already closed and cancellation is no longer possible, please send an e-mail with reasons to [email protected] or [email protected].

Lecturers will confirm your attendance: you do not need to provide any further proof. If you were present at all course dates, we will automatically send you a certificate of attendance by email by the end of the respective block, which you can then use for job applications, for example.
