Prof. Dr. Fakhteh Ghanbarnejad, Head of Computer Science, emphasised the innovative power of private universities in the development of new degree programmes. Facts and figures about the SRH Campus Leipzig

The new campus covers around 1,200 square metres and offers a modern learning environment. Almost 150 students from almost 30 countries are currently studying here, and this number is expected to double in the winter semester 2025/26. The cooperation with "Basecamp by Xior Leipzig", a private student residence directly opposite the campus, makes it easier for international students to arrive and promotes networking.

SRH University already offers practical degree programmes such as the Master Computer Science with a focus on Big Data & AI and the B.Sc. Physician Assistant. At the same time, forward-looking programmes in medical technology and biotechnology are being developed to specifically address the shortage of skilled workers in the region. There are also plans to offer the Computer Science degree programme as a dual course of study in the future in order to further intensify cooperation with regional companies.

The campus not only creates a modern educational centre, but also makes a sustainable contribution to Leipzig's economic development. With a strong network of regional partner companies and an international student body, SRH University promotes the city's innovative strength and cosmopolitanism. The intercultural exchange on campus enriches academic life and strengthens Leipzig as an international centre of education.
