Personnel management and strategic HR

Become an expert in people management, organisational development, and strategic HR decision-making. The programme builds a solid foundation in management and organisational behaviour in the first semester, exploring how organisations function and how people, culture and leadership drive performance. You gain a strong grasp of core and international HR practices across recruitment, performance management, employee relations and global talent strategies. In the next semester, you strengthen data literacy and marketing skills while advancing training and development and solving applied HR cases. A scientific writing module prepares you for academic and professional research. The final semester focuses on strategic management and business ethics, plus an applied project or internship. You finish with a master’s thesis addressing a real HR challenge.

Your modules

Our MBA Human Resource Management provides a comprehensive overview of management and HR functions across three semesters. In the first semester, you study fundamentals of management and economics, organisational behaviour and the foundations of human resource management, including international HR practices and global workforce management. The second semester develops your analytical skills through data-driven decision-making and marketing management, while deepening your HR expertise in training, development and advanced case studies. A scientific writing module prepares you for academic and professional research work. In the final semester, you expand your strategic perspective with strategic management and corporate social responsibility and business ethics. The programme concludes with an applied project or internship and the master’s thesis, where you address a practical HR challenge.

Shorten your studies Optional: Fast-track option (60 ECTS)

The MBA in Human Resource Management is also available as a Fast Track version with a reduced study volume of 60 ECTS. This option is designed for applicants who already hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 210 ECTS and have relevant professional experience.

In the Fast Track, you complete the full set of core modules in management, organisational behaviour, talent management, employee development, and strategic HR practices. You finish your studies within two semesters, including the applied project and the Master’s thesis, allowing you to accelerate your academic progression and return to your career more quickly.

This path provides the same high academic quality while focusing on the essential competencies needed to lead people and organisational initiatives with confidence.

Costs

Smart financing

As a state-recognised, private university, SRH University is financed by tuition fees. This income goes towards equipping our campuses, providing services for our students and quality assurance. In this way, we ensure that you receive the best possible education under optimal study conditions.

Tuition Fees 

  • EU/EEA citizenship, including Switzerland, Western Balkans and Ukraine: €1,200 per month
  • Non-EU/EEA citizenship: €7,900 per semester

The tuition fee (per month/per semester) remains the same for the entire period of study. A one-off registration fee of € 750 (EU/EEA) / € 1,000 (non-EU/EEA) is charged. Goal-oriented studies require good organisational skills and solid financial planning on how to pay rent, living costs, and tuition fees. Various financing options, such as educational loans or scholarship programmes, are available for students.

You submit your online application via the SRH application portal 

If you meet the admission requirements, we will invite you to a personal/phone interview If the interview is successful, you will receive an acceptance letter and the study contract You sign the study contract and send it back to us. You pay the enrolment fee. You will receive your letter of admission. You take part in our Welcome Week and then you are good to go!

  2. If admission requirements are met, you will receive an invitation for the admissions interview*
  3. After a successful interview, you will receive an acceptance letter and the study contract
  4. Read thoroughly, sign and upload your study contract to your application account
  5. Reserve your study place by paying the enrolment fee within the guarantee period
  6. Receive your letter of admission
  7. Apply for a study visa should you require one (Who needs a visa)
  8. Pay your tuition fees as per your study contract
  9. Participate in Welcome Week and begin your studies 

*Note that not all programmes require an interview, in some cases you may be asked to video record it or you may receive your letter of acceptance directly.
