The Executive Board consists of the Rector, the Vice Rectors and the Managing Director of the sponsoring organisation. The Executive Board is the managing academic body and is responsible for university law and policy matters.
The University Board is an advisory body of SRH University. It shares responsibility for the academic development of the university and proposes measures to the Executive Board that serve to raise the profile and increase the performance and competitiveness of SRH University. The members of the University Board are appointed by the shareholders' meeting of SRH Hochschulen GmbH, taking into account the opinion of the Academic Senate. The Rector and Vice Rectors participate in the meetings of the University Board in an advisory capacity. The Academic Senate has the right to propose two members of the University Board.
The University Board of SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg was appointed by the shareholders' meeting in October 2024. The term of office for members is three years.
The University Board consists of seven members: Chairman of the UB Prof. Dr. Christoph Hettich (lawyer, CEO of SRH Holding), Peter Görlich (Managing Director of Hertha BSC), Wolfgang Grenke (founder and former long-standing CEO of Grenke AG), Philipp Hartmann (co-founder of Rheingau Founders), Jeannine Koch (CEO of media:net berlinbrandenburg e.V.), Dr Andrea Römmele (Director of Executive Education at the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin), Melis Sekmen (CDU politician) and Prof. Dr Eckart Würzner (Mayor of the City of Heidelberg).

The Academic Senate is the main academic body at SRH University. The Academic Senate advises on matters relating to research, teaching, studies and continuing education, and makes decisions on matters assigned to it by the constitution. In addition to the Rector and Vice Rectors, the Academic Senate comprises the Academic Directors, eleven elected representatives from the professorial staff, two elected representatives from other academic and scientific staff, two elected non-scientific staff members (administrative staff) and two elected student representatives.
