In the B.A. Advertising & Brand Design programme, you develop creative strategies for advertising and brand communication – from the initial idea to the finished campaign. You learn how to design visual identities, target specific audiences, and stage brands professionally across print, web, film, and social media. The course is practice-oriented and interdisciplinary, preparing you for careers such as Art Director, Brand Designer, or Creative Strategist.
In the B.A. Audio Design programme, you create soundscapes for film, games, media and installations. You learn to compose sounds, analyse acoustics and work professionally with the latest hardware and software – from electronic music to 3D audio. Your studies are hands-on, creative and combine technology, music and media design.
In the B.A. Communication Design programme, you learn creative and conceptual techniques to visually communicate brand messages. Using classical graphic and web design, as well as knowledge of film production and both analogue and digital photography, you bring ideas to life. During your studies, you also build valuable connections with media professionals.
The B.A. Film & Motion Design programme is your entry into the film business. You learn how films are conceived and produced—from the original idea to the screening. You will learn everything about proper camera and editing techniques, storytelling, directing, post-production, and 2D and 3D visualisations. Last but not least, you can realise your film projects using the latest hardware and software.
In the B.A. Photography programme, you learn to design and stage visual information using analogue and digital techniques. You explore all the possibilities of image design and find your individual style. You also work with new image media such as CGI, Stereo3D, 360 x 180°, and Virtual & Augmented Reality.
In the B.A. User Experience Design programme you develop digital products, analyse user needs, and manage design processes. Or you can become an expert in content strategy—with your degree, you will have a deep understanding of the user-centred design of digital experiences and can use high-quality content to communicate your products to the right target group.
