Our new Bachelor’s degree programme, B.A. International Business Administration – specialising in Finance, offers you a comprehensive international business education that equips you with the key soft and hard skills required by employers. 

The Finance specialisation enables you to propose well‑founded investment decisions in both institutional and private contexts. You will gain familiarity with the main financial instruments traded on the markets including shares, bonds, property, precious metals, foreign and cryptocurrencies, as well as alternative investments and understand their respective characteristics in terms of return and risk. Sustainability aspects also play a particularly important role. In addition, you will explore fundamental finance‑related theories and develop an understanding of the factors that influence the pricing of financial instruments.

You will also recognise the importance of portfolio management and be able to make decisions regarding strategic and tactical asset allocation, as well as market timing. Practice oriented forecasting and planning tools powered by AI will form part of your learning experience.

In addition to the programme’s international focus, our skill-based approach prepares you to successfully navigate the financial challenges of the 21st century.

Learn everything about International Business Administration with a focus on Finance

The International Business Administration – Finance programme equips you with a broad foundation in business and prepares you for an international career. You engage with essential areas of business and apply your knowledge directly through project work and an internship, gaining insight into the demands of the global economy.

The Finance specialisation deepens your understanding of how financial investments are planned and managed in both institutional and private contexts. You gain insight into major financial instruments and learn how to build effective investment portfolios using AI‑supported forecasting and planning tools.

Fast Track or International Experience Track

We offer you the opportunity to complete your degree in 3 or 3.5 years and to tailor it to your own preferences and plans. Choose between:

  • Fast Track | Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
  • International Experience Track | Duration: 3.5 years (7 semesters)

As a state-recognised private university, SRH University is funded by tuition fees. These funds are used to equip our campuses, provide services for our students and ensure quality assurance. In this way, we ensure that you receive the best possible education under optimal study conditions.

The tuition fee (per month/per semester) remains the same throughout the entire duration of the programme. A one-off registration fee of €750 (EU/EEA) / €1,000 (non-EU/EEA) is charged. 

Studying with a clear goal in mind requires not only efficient organisation but also a solid financial foundation to cover rent, living costs and tuition fees. There are various funding options available, such as student loans or scholarship programmes.

Admission

You can apply at any time via our online portal with no obligation. We will then review your application documents and invite you to a personal interview.

To apply for the Bachelor’s degree programme in International Business Administration – Finance, you will need:

  • A certificate of general university entrance qualification or a certificate of entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences
  • Alternatively, a vocational qualification may also grant entry*
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • CV with a recent passport photo
  • Copy of ID (front and back); for international students, a copy of the passport or national identity card

* Vocationally qualified applicants without a university entrance qualification who have completed at least two years of vocational training and have at least three years’ professional experience may also be eligible to study on a specific programme by passing an aptitude test.   2. If admission requirements are met, you will receive an invitation for the admissions interview*
  3. After a successful interview, you will receive an acceptance letter and the study contract
  4. Read thoroughly, sign and upload your study contract to your application account
  5. Reserve your study place by paying the enrolment fee within the guarantee period
  6. Receive your letter of admission
  7. Apply for a study visa should you require one (Who needs a visa)
  8. Pay your tuition fees as per your study contract
  9. Participate in Welcome Week and begin your studies 

*Note that not all programmes require an interview, in some cases you may be asked to video record it or you may receive your letter of acceptance directly.
