Lecturer for Special Tasks - TEAC
Tim Garbe is a lecturer at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg, a role he has held since July 2025. His teaching draws on a strong foundation in both academic research and applied practice, enabling him to bring real-world relevance into the classroom.
Prior to his current position, he spent nearly four years at Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH, where he progressed from working student to researcher. During this time, he focused on building data science solutions and developing integration software, experience that continues to shape the practical perspective he brings to his courses and teaching materials.
He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig. Although he has not yet pursued doctoral studies, his blend of industry experience and a solid academic background in computer science provides a strong foundation for teaching in the field. His central aim is to close the gap between theoretical concepts and their practical application, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity.
